NetMesh InfoGrid Workgroup

NetMesh InfoGrid Workgroup is a highly innovative but enterprise-proven Web 2.0 software platform that allows developers to quickly create applications with one or more of the following characteristics:

• Applications that access or monitor one or more data feeds from a variety of sources, such as RSS feeds, conventional databases, web services, or even screen scraping.
• Applications that need to aggregate and remix the aggregated information, including business semantics.
• Applications that use highly structured information with complex interrelationships.
• Applications with one or more of the following user interface technologies: thin client, rich client, mobile client, messaging client. Any of these technologies may be combined for any one application, on one or more of the user's devices (e.g. PC, mobile device).
• Applications that not only wait passively for the user to take action, but that take action on their own and notify the user when important events occur.
• Applications that need to provide information creation, sharing and remixing facilities to their users as essential features.
• Applications that use information held in existing systems that must not be disrupted for whatever reasons.
